Villány Wine Route

Villany is one of the famous wine regions in Hungary. The Villany-Siklos Wine route has many tourist attractions like thermal bath, castle, churches, statuepark and world herritage winecellars. You can discover this medditerrean region now with many wine and good traditional dishes.

Day 1
We leave the hotel at 9 o’clock in the morning. We arrive at the Villány Wine Region in the southwest of Hungary in the early afternoon.
First we visit a famous wine-cellar where we get a wine tasting with lunch first after the cellar visiting.
We travel to Harkány, the famous spa where our accomodation will be in a 4 stars wellness hotel.
In the remaining part of the afternoon we spoil ourselves in the wellness section of the hotel: Jacuzzi, spa pool, thermal pool, massage, sauna, etc.
We have dinner in the hotel.

Day 2
We can visit the Harkány thermal bath according to our mood after breakfast, or we can spend the morning in the wellness centrum of the hotel.
Lunch in the hotel.
We go for an excursion by bus in the wine region. We are walking in the statue park of Nagyharsány and the ancient rows of wine cellars of Villánykövesd and we visit the castle of Siklós.
In the evening we have dinner in a famous wine cellar with winetasting.

Day 3
We say good-bye to Harkány after breakfast and we travel to Pécs, The European Cultural Capital. After the sightseeing by walk and bus, we visit the only one champagne factory of Pécs where we have lunch after the champagne tasting.
After lunch we will look through the the city with Mediterranean atmosphere from the TV tower of a the mountain above Pécs
We arrive back to Budapest in the evening.

Accomodation: 2 nights in an 4* Hotel in Harkány
Board: Fullboard from the lunch of the first day to the lunch of the last day. Drinks not included (ex. the wine during the winetastings)
Including: double room, full board, 2 wine tasting with meals, using the wellness section of the hotel, the sightseeings, the champagne tasting with lunch, autobustransfer, guide.
