Lake Balaton is the sailing paradise of Hungary. It is one of the most precious natural treasures of Hungary. It is the largest lake of Central Europe, its length is 77 kilometres and its width ranges from 4 to 14 kilometres.

Our partner is company with a complete range of sailing services. Sailing courses, skipper training, yacht charter, trading, boat building and repair. Additionally they give support with technical advice and sharing our experience. It is located in Balatonfüred. It was founded in 1992.

Sailing school

The school offers sailing courses for all skill levels from beginners through advanced. We guarantee that regardless of your present skill level or the type of boat you prefer, your training with us will improve your performance as a sailor. Attending our course will teach you more about sailing than any other sailing school in the country. Every year more men, women and children from age 12 to 65 become captivated with sailing.

* Personal training, with distinct trainer and boat
* Team training (continously or on weekend)

On our beginner courses the students learn on two different boat categories: dinghies and keelboats (Pirate, Aquilla, Balaton 22, Balaton 25 and J-24). The on-water and classroom lessons are at the same time in Balatonfüred. Our students can take the 6 days course or the 3 weekend format, which is designed for those who want a comprehensive beginner course but are unable to take a full week off. Using the same curriculum as our 6 day course. We have special offers for groups.

Skipper Training

Our intermediate level training is designed for sailors familiar with the basics who are looking to expand their skills and confidence to move into higher level sailing or racing.

Program:

* Sail trim
* Light and heavy wind sailing techniques
* Boat speed, tuning
* Helm with sails and weight
* Spinnaker sailing
* Spinakker trimm
* Team work
* Weight position and balance
* Introduction to racing

The course is 3 days, 20 hours on water, 4 hours in class room.
