Hydrofoil from Budapest to Vienna 2012

If you are in Budapest, why don't you discover the neighbouring capitals as well, like Wien or Bratislava? We offer it to you by the Danube. Reserve a seat on one of our hydrofoil lines and let the Danube to admire you with its beautiful nature during the few hours trip. Bratislava is only 1,5 hours from Budapest, Wien is cca. 6 hours.

Important: You can't return on the same day from Wien by hydrofoil because of the long journey and the timetable. If you have no much time for this trip, you can travel back by train or coach to Budapest (both starts in every 2nd-3third hours from Wien).

CHECK-IN

Check-in and passport control from one hour prior to departure. Latest check-in 15 minutes before departure.

The passengers take up their seats in the order of embarkation.

As further services in our office in Budapest or in Vienna in the office of our partner DDSG Blue Danube you can choose from various categories of accomodation in Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest.

The price of the ticket includes: the fare, port dues, the insurance of the passenger in case of personal injuries or luggage loss while on board
We do not take responsibility for fragile or damageable goods.

LUGGAGE

Each passenger can carry at most two pieces of baggage that weigh no more than 12 kg and do not exceed 0.7 m in any dimension (and which do not obstruct boarding, disembarking or free passage in the passenger compartment of the boat), and one baby carriage, one umbrella, one walking stick and one small musical instrument on all boats of PassNave Kft free of extra charge.

Objects that could cause damage to health or property, as well as objects that are illegal to transport, will not be permitted aboard.

Passengers must look after their own hand baggage on board, and PassNave Kft does not assume liability for lost, missing, damaged or stolen hand baggage, regardless of the cause.

On international hydrofoil lines, luggage must not weigh more than 20 kg. A surcharge of EUR 10 per kg will be charged for luggage in excess of the weight limit, to be paid by the passenger on the spot. A maximum of 10 kg extra weight per passenger is allowed on board.

Services on board:
á la carte buffet with cold dishes and drinks, english speaking crew member, guidenance about the sights along the river by a staff member or by multimedia, complete catering menus for groups (over 10 people) on advanced order.

PETS

Pets are not allowed aboard.


The passenger halls of our hydrofoils are no smoking areas.
Onboard of our large Sólyom type hydrofoils we have smoking area.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Within 24 hours prior departure: non refundable, but tickets can be re-booked.
• 24 hours - 12 days prior departure: 80% refundable
• Over 12 days prior departure: 90% refundable
