There is no lighting int he cave. There is no larger watering surface in the branches, but you can find mud and waterdropping.

As not only the cave but also the surface area are strictly protected, we approach the cave entrance on foot (an approx 40-minute-long walk uphill) in a beautiful forest area.

Depending on your habitude and confidence you can choose between the standard tour of and the advanced tour.

Standard tour:

Length: 400 m
Duration: 1,5-2 hours

It is an easier tour, but you have to crawling and climbing on ladders. It has only one narrower part. Sometimes you can move upright. The tour  involves 10 sights of the cave. The visitors return back to the exit on the same route.

Under the age of 18 only this tour is available.

Advanced Tour

Length: cca 900 m
Duration: 3,5 -4 hours

This tour involves the  sights of the standard tours, too, but in the other part of the cave you have to go on deep slopes up and down, using stepscrews and ropes, move in or over narrow and deep rifts. You need good fitness on this tour.

This tour is only for adults (18 years and over).

Important notes:

Caving overall, helmet and headlamp are provided for you.  You only need to wear boots you don’t mind getting dirty and comfortable clothes.

Standard tours start for 8–13 people, advanced tours start for 5–8 people during the whole year by prior arrangement.

-    participation is only at your own risk
-    persons under the age of 18 can participate only with their parents (or with their written permission)
-    children under the age of 10 can’t participate any of these tours.
-    under the influence of alcohol or drugs the participation is prohibited
-    only the following objects can be taken to the cave: objects provided by the cave, water in plastic bottle. Any foods or other drinks are prohibited.
-    the terms of behavior and nature protection is mandatory for every visitors

•    Alto caving overall in 14 different sizes.

Needed:
•    warm first layers: trousers, pullower. The temparature is 9,5 C in the cave in every season. It is important to choose the propriate clothes
•    footwear: old boots or gum boots with fluted base
•    handwear: work gloves

Lake Balaton:

The cave is on the north shore of Lake Balaton. We suggest to combine this tour with some days at the Lake Balaton in the summer season.

-    winetasting in the famous Badacsony wine region
-    summer bob
-    etc.

Africa Museum: In Balatonederics, near the cave, there is a museum with a small safari park.

The museum was founded by dr. Nagy Endre, Africa-hunter. His valuable and particular trophies are exhibited in the museum. In the garden of the building there is a small safari park.

On the exhibition stone and wooden sculptures, trophies, animal skins, objects of African tribes can be seen. In the small safari park the visitor can meet African animals in their natural area: camel, buffalo, zebra.
The brave visitor can ride a camel.

Hévíz:

Thermal bath in Héviz: Hévíz, the thermal bath is near the cave. After caving you can spend 1-2 relaxing day with bathing in the thermal lake.

Winetasting in Badacsony:

The famous wine region is also near the cave. You can have a dinner with winetasting after the caving.
